Amanda Reekie

Amanda has been advising architects, other professionals and property industry-related firms on a wide range of profile raising, positioning and communication matters since 1985. Her experience and industry knowledge enable her to get quickly to the heart of the issues, and then to guide the Stratton & Reekie team in developing PR strategies which are carefully tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Amanda left her native Scotland to study philosophy at York University before graduating and coming to London. After a short spell in video production and several years at Welbeck PR and Pouget & Partners working on consumer brands, Amanda co-founded Stratton & Reekie with Deborah Stratton.

Her previous experiences as Scotland's first professional salmon fisherwoman, white water rafting from Papua New Guinea's highlands to the sea, and swimming in crocodile infested waters, were all good training for the challenges of her day job.
